Job Details:

• Work rotating shifts including days, afternoons, weekends, holidays, and call
• Breast experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS
• Additional appropriate certifications include: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures including echocardiograms, TEE's, TTE's, stress echo, and structural heart program imaging
• For vascular certified: perform upper/lower venous duplexes, arterial duplexes, dialysis graphs, venous insufficiencies, pulse volume recordings, and ankle brachial index
• Handle proper billing of procedures and prioritize patient scheduling
• Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely procedure completion
• Obtain specific procedure information and answer patient questions courteously
• Notify medical staff of any abnormal imaging findings
• Document procedures in patient charts and calculate cardiovascular measurements
• Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness
• Complete accurate documentation through EPIC for proper billing
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Gray
• Background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
