ED Registered Nurse Job in Burlington, NC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Cone Health – Alamance Regional Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Occasional 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM shifts as needed
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as required
• No call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling system

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts
• Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 58-bed emergency department handling approximately 180 visits per day
• Manage patients with cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health conditions
• 36-hour orientation period
• Subject to float to any facility campus within the health system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
• EPIC charting system experience
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience
• EKG exam completion during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,047.68
