Job Details:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel
• Hard stop requirements: Must have Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics experience
• Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Variable weekend schedule to be discussed during interview
• Variable call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including to Outpatient as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patients include adults and geriatrics
• 36 orientation hours required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• No holiday RTO will be approved during blackout dates: 11/23–11/29 and 12/21–1/3
• Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• GA or Compact nursing license required
• Required skills include but are not limited to: Craniotomy, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, Total Joint Replacement, Transplant (solid organ), Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection, Laparoscopic Assisted Procedures, GYN procedures, and Orthopedic procedures
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
