First Assist Technician

Opportunity:

CSFA - First Assist Tech

Job Details:

• Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting with 3 beds and a team of 15 staff members
• Day shift schedule Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities after hours and weekends
• Rotating weekend on-call required
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Must have vein harvesting capabilities and be competent and independent in vein procurement using the Maquet Hemopro 2 system
• Perform and assist with procedures including CABG, valve procedures, TAVR standby, laser lead standby, thoracic robotic assisted surgeries, and general emergent open-heart procedures
• Float to Main OR as needed
• Hospital scrubs required as dress code
• Required certifications: BLS and CST (Certified Surgical Technician)
• CVOR experience is required - candidates without this skill will not be considered
• Must be competent and able to work independently
