CSFA - First Assist OR

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Position is set in an Acute Inpatient OR and Ambulatory Surgery Center OR setting
• Call required
• Weekend coverage required 1-2 weekends per contract
• 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
• Must have completed a minimum of 1 travel assignment to be considered
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NBSTSA preferred
• Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, abdominal hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy (knee, shoulder, wrist), aseptic technique, bariatrics, bilateral tubal ligation, bronchoscopy, C-sections, carotid endarterectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, colonoscopy, colorectal robotic surgery, cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, dilation & curettage, EGD, electrosurgical units, endo/laparoscopic procedures, endovascular aortic repair (EVAR), femoral popliteal bypass graft, gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, general surgery, gynecologic robotic surgery, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted cases, ORIF (shoulder, hip, humerus), orthopedic/total joints, plastics, robotics, thyroidectomy, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, tracheostomy, TURP, urology, vaginal hysterectomy, vascular surgery, and wound dressing
• Must be comfortable caring for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Maryland license required - must have either a compact license or an MD license
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment
