Join FW Huston Medical Center as a Physical Therapist in our outpatient rehabilitation department. This 13-week travel assignment offers the chance to work in a varied clinical environment while maintaining a predictable schedule.

Role Overview

You will serve as the primary therapist in the outpatient setting, with potential coverage responsibilities in a critical access hospital and long-term care areas as needed. Your day-to-day work includes evaluating and treating patients across multiple conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing patient and family education. You will see an average of 5 patient visits daily.

Schedule & Location

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
  • Winchester, Kansas
  • Start date: June 29, 2026
  • Weekly pay: $2,592

Clinical Focus Areas

  • Orthopedic conditions: low back pain, cervicalgia, post-op shoulder repair, post-op cervical and spinal surgery, total hip and knee replacement, spinal conditions
  • Neurological conditions: multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury

Required Qualifications

  • Kansas state PT license (in hand or compact at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; 2 years preferred
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facility settings
  • Home exercise program development skills
  • One professional reference

Experience with any electronic charting system is acceptable; no specific system is required. You may float to different units as clinical needs arise.
