Surgical Services - CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant @ Piedmont Atlanta Hospital

Opportunity:

CSFA - First Assist OR

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule
• Call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to change based on departmental needs)
• Weekend coverage only required during call periods
• Float within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Must have experience in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic procedures
• Heart transplant experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, CSFA (NBSTSA or NCCSA also accepted)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Privileging process required prior to start (approximately 120 days from signature)
• Pre-application fee of $125 required for privileging
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed, no holiday RTO accepted
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Clinical screening and manager review required
