Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday work expected approximately half of all recognized holidays
• Must have Epic experience - required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Handle patient ratios of 3:1 for stepdown patients or 6:1 for medical-surgical patients
• Flex unit serving both floor and stepdown patients based on hospital needs
• Titrate drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbitol, ketamine, and pain medication PCAs
• Work with diverse patient population primarily with medical diagnoses
• First to float to other floor/stepdown units when needed
• No call or standby requirements
• Dress code requires any combination of royal blue and white scrubs
• Work on 29-bed unit currently under construction with opening planned for first quarter 2026
• All beds will be stepdown equipped with telemetry monitoring
• Remote telemetry surveillance available - RNs not required to read own strips
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and ventilators
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week assignment
