Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts weekly with night shifts and rotating shifts for coverage
• Shift times: 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM for day shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed based on department needs
• Handle 50-75+ treatments per day depending on census
• Must have 2 years experience in respiratory therapy specialty
• Must have ventilatory skills and ability to work independently
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), RRT preferred but CRT acceptable
• No specific scrub color requirements
• 2-3 days department-specific orientation provided
• Work with Hamilton Medical C1 & C3 Vents, Masimo SoftFlow High Flows, Masimo Pulse Oximeters, GEM5000 ABG analyzer, ResMed bedside CPAP/BiPAP
• Inpatient duties include vent management, ABG draws, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nebs, MDIs, Flutter/Airway Clearance
• Outpatient duties include setting up nocturnal pulse ox and blood gases
• Cover inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department areas
• Treat mostly adults with occasional pediatric and neonatal patients in ED and L&D
• Assist with intubations as needed
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• Manager available 24/7 for support
