Physical Therapist Job in Largo, FL

You'll work as a Physical Therapist at HCA Florida Largo Hospital, a 286-bed acute care facility with an active rehabilitation department. This position offers you the opportunity to evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of diagnoses, from outpatient orthopedic surgeries to heart transplants.

Your Role

• Treat a patient caseload maxed out at 13 patients per day
• Work with mobility devices and rehabilitation equipment to support patient recovery
• Float between the main hospital campus and the west campus psych/rehab department as needed
• Collaborate with a rehabilitation team of approximately 40 caregivers, including 10 PTs, 5 OTs, and 3.5 SLPs
• Document and communicate within the MediTech electronic medical record system

About the Facility

Physical therapy services are ordered for approximately 75% of all hospital patients, reflecting the high demand for rehabilitation services. You'll have access to hospital garage parking on the third and fourth floors and work alongside experienced colleagues during day shifts.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy degree
• Acute care or LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
