Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Indianapolis, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, and L&D units
• Manage specialized equipment including CPAP, mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide delivery, and aerosol systems
• Perform arterial blood gas interpretation, tracheostomy care, and ventilator weaning procedures
• Float to affiliate hospitals nearby and within pediatric acute care settings as needed
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications:

• Current RRT certification (NBRC)
• Minimum 2 years pediatric respiratory therapy experience
• Current children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• NICU and PICU experience required
• L&D experience as primary placement will be in L&D
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications (NRP required for L&D)
• Indiana State License
• Education accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• PALS certification preferred

First time travelers are accepted. Your assignment begins May 18, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,358.72. Home unit assignment will be determined by facility based on operational need.
