Job Details:

• Operate highly technical ultrasound equipment to produce high-frequency sound images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies
• Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative
• Must be able to perform breast imaging and DVT exams
• Work effectively with patients and their families while maintaining cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Must have own transportation - rural area
• Must reside 50+ miles from facility - no local candidates
• Graduate of an approved/accredited School of Ultrasound required
• Minimum one year of previous experience required, including at least one year of current OB experience
• Required certifications: ARDMS (or RDMS) and BLS (AHA)
• Working knowledge of CR and PACS preferred
• Facility utilizes GE Logiq 10, Fuji PACS, and Meditech
• Updated work history, skills checklist current within one year, and one supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
