Job Details:

• Provide quality speech and/or language therapy services to predominantly Native American population
• Work regular work week schedule (weekend services not currently available)
• Serve both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Assess patients ranging in age from birth through geriatric
• Document evaluations and treatment plans in electronic health record
• Provide specialty services including swallowing evaluations, Videofluoroscopy (VFSS), Modified Barium Swallowing (MBS), and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
• Conduct cognitive treatment, voice treatment, and pediatric speech/language therapy
• Participate in specialty clinics including Geriatric clinic and Assistive Technology evaluations
• Collaborate with Physical Rehabilitation team and other healthcare workers
• Provide training and in-services for student and staff education
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited school required
• Must maintain ASHA certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license from Arizona or any US state required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association required
• Must meet Medical Staff credentialing requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience as licensed Speech-Language Pathologist required
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
