Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Acute Care</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work variable ICU schedule with day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Full-time position with day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage required<br>• Must maintain current New York State registered professional nurse license<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through RQI system during clinical orientation), NIHSS<br>• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire<br>• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire<br>• Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years<br>• TNCC certification recommended within 2 years<br>• Provide care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations<br>• Demonstrate professional behavior consistent with Healing Environment principles<br>• Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional patient interactions<br>• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while promoting teamwork<br>• Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record experience preferred<br>• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing critical care services to patients across all age groups.
