About this role
You'll work as an RN in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit at St Lukes Nampa Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Your weekly pay is $2,073.60.
Your Role
You'll care for critically ill patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. You'll manage patients on mechanical ventilation, titrate vasoactive drips (Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, Diltiazem), and care for those with Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, Sepsis, GI Bleeds, Strokes, post-codes, Pneumonia, and post-surgical complications. You'll read cardiac monitor strips using the Spacelabs system—no telemetry technicians on the unit—and work alongside respiratory therapy staff for ventilators, high-flow oxygen, and BiPAP support.
Staffing & Support
- Charge nurse does not take patients
- One CNA per shift
- Hospitalist on site 24/7
- Intensivist available via telehealth 24/7
- Respiratory therapists present 24/7
- Administrative Supervisor and Crisis Nurse available 24/7
Schedule Details
You'll work weekend shifts as needed, with attempts to schedule every other weekend. Holiday shifts may be required. No on-call or standby requirements. As first to float, you may rotate to Telemetry at 1:3 ratio or full assignment, or to Meridian and Boise ICUs.
Orientation & Requirements
You'll receive 1–2 shifts of unit-specific orientation depending on your experience. Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required; first-time travelers are welcome. CRRT experience is not required. You must hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. BSN is not required. Charting is done in EPIC. Scrubs must be any color as long as they are clean and professional.
