PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirement includes nights, weekends, and holidays
• On-call is typically 1 night per week
• Weekends and holidays required
• No block scheduling
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
• One year of main hospital PACU experience required
• Pediatric experience in the OR required
• Work in a highly skilled 8-bay PACU unit monitoring patients on a 1 nurse to 1 patient ratio immediately following surgery
• Manage patient airways, pain levels, vital signs, and all other post-surgical needs
• Float to like acuities or less if needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Active license and all required certifications must be in hand at time of submission
