Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule
• Call required minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
• Must be proficient with equipment including: Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari
• Required skills: Circulate and Conscious Sedation
• Cardiac procedures include: Left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), balloon pumps, temporary pacemaker, permanent pacemaker/defibrillator, pericardial effusion, and STEMI call
• Interventional Radiology procedures include: Venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, TIPS, peripheral vascular, fistula work, UFEs, prostate embolizations, and GI/post-partum/other internal bleeds
• Additional skills required include: Angiography, angioplasty, aortography, cardiac stent placement, central venous access, embolization, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, IVC filter placement and removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, rotablader atherectomy, sterile technique, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and uterine arterial embolization
• Patient age groups served: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals is required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Pre-approved time off: One occurrence allowed
