Job Details:

• Work 5x8 night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as needed
• 40 hours per week
• IAHCSMM/HSPA Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician required, specifically in: Decontamination and Disinfection, Case Cart, Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Preference cards, Proper labeling, Proper selection of wrapping materials, Sterilization wrapping procedures, Sets/trays assembly, Equipment Documentation, and Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM)
• Specialty equipment processing experience required with Bariatric, Cardiac, Dental, Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Transplant, Urology, and Vascular instruments
• Minimum of 1 prior travel assignment required
• Acute care hospital OR experience preferred
• Preferred skills include: Aseptic Technique, Cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), Endoscopes, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, and Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing
• DC license required at time of submission
• Two supervisory references required, including one from most recent assignment
• 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
