PT (Physical Therapist)

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour day shifts with varied start times from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM<br>• 30-minute lunch break included<br>• Weekend requirement: Every other Saturday or Sunday, 2 weekend days in a 4-week schedule<br>• Day off during the week when working weekend shifts<br>• Float between hospital units and to acute rehab<br>• Work with inpatient and outpatient services (travelers work IP for OT, PT, and Speech)<br>• 2+ years of acute care experience required, 3-5 years preferred<br>• Must have experience with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac cases<br>• ICU experience preferred<br>• Open to first-time travelers<br>• Common diagnoses include spinal cord injuries, TBI, stroke, cardiac rehab, and orthopedic cases<br>• Experience with physical disabilities preferred<br>• Spanish speaking candidates preferred<br>• Outpatient or home health experience preferred<br>• Required certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine<br>• EMR system: Cerner<br>• Dress code: Black or dark colored pants, burgundy dress shirts or polos<br>• 1 day hospital orientation followed by 2-3 days unit orientation</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital features comprehensive rehabilitation therapies and cardiac rehabilitation services. The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient services with specialized units for various patient populations. The hospital maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, utilizes Phillips telemetry systems, and has hospitalists and intensivists available in-house.
