Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 16-hour shifts with guaranteed hours
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• On-call requirement: 1 night per week and every 3rd weekend from 7:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Overtime billable: 36-40 hours per week (after 40 hours), 48 hours per week (after 48 hours)
• Must float across all Des Moines campuses to like units
• Minimum 24 months of Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required
• Structural heart experience highly preferred
• EP experience highly preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Preference for scrubber role, but must be strong and experienced circulator
• Precept as needed
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Iowa nursing license required (active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate)
• EMR system: EPIC
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
