Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• 12-hour day and night shift variable schedule (must be flexible)
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• PM shift hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 8-hour night shift option: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36-48 hours per week (minimum of 36, up to 48; overtime after 48 hours)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float team position - will float as needed within skillset to observation unit, cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab, and/or transitional care unit
• Facility will attempt to keep traveler in 1-2 like units but floating to other units is possible
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4, PM shift 1:4/1:5, Night shift 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)
• Scrub colors: No bright colors or character prints
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), Active RN or Compact License, NIHSS (preferred at submission; required prior to end of orientation)
• Charting experience: Epic strongly preferred within the past 2 years
• Minimum 1-2+ years of general Med/Surg experience required
• Must have experience with venipuncture, Cardizem, ports, Foley/straight catheterization, and stable drips
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong time management, resilience, adaptability to change, and social skills expected
