Opportunity:

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• Floating required in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies
• Expect to work some holidays on a rotating Team A or Team B schedule
• Patient ratio of 6 patients per shift including weekends
• Care provided for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Charting system experience required - Meditech
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Additional certifications: ACLS (preferred), CPI (preferred)
• Non-AHA certifications accepted; Instructor, Provider, and RQI accepted
• Required skills include: telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line blood draw, PICC line management, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, heparin and insulin administration, cardiac drip management (no titration), wound care/wound vac, PCA, phlebotomy, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, feeding tube care and management, continuous bladder irrigation, CVA care, renal failure management, and use of rapid response/code teams
