Telemetry RN Job in Sioux City, IA

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a general medical/surgical telemetry unit at UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown in Sioux City, IA. This is a temporary position with a 91-day duration, starting July 20, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,332.80

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients requiring overnight stays on the medical/surgical floor
• Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system (prior experience preferred)

Requirements

• Current RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification
• Valid driver's license
• Skills checklist completed within one year of submission date
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Taxable address must be located outside 50 miles from the facility
