ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 9-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
• All RN staff unit with self-scheduling and manager oversight
• Required to work 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating required to Med-Surg or ED as needed for critical staffing needs
• Must have ICU experience of more than 2 years
• Advanced skills required: ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management
• Procedures performed on unit include intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Equipment used includes ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET, bedside shift report, and Press Ganey goals above 75%
• Required uniform: Navy Blue Scrubs
