Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• No on-call requirements
• Every other weekend schedule
• 6:1 patient ratio
• Work on 34-bed surgical oncology telemetry unit
• Provide care to general medical/surgical patients and surgical oncology patients
• Maintain 24-hour cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Work with Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment and GE Telemetry Monitoring
• Use MediTech EMR system
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Medical/Surgical experience
• Preferred: Chemotherapy Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Must wear navy scrubs
• Serve young adult through geriatric patient populations
• Perform chemotherapy administration (certification required)
• Work with outgoing, team-oriented staff culture
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, and 3 PCTs
