Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with schedule adjustments as needed
• Call requirements include 1 night per week or 4 weeknights per month starting at 3:00 PM
• Weekend call typically 1 full weekend per month (Friday-Sunday)
• Holiday call may be assigned if holiday occurs during contract
• Must remain within 30 minutes of hospital while on-call
• Average 8 cases per day in 4 operating suites plus 1 endoscopy suite
• Common cases include orthopedic (total joints, sports medicine, hands and trauma), general surgery, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Required to assist with SPD and HLD experience including cleaning and washing for call procedures
• All OR personnel must help clean and turnover operating rooms with orderly team
• Float to cover endoscopy procedures as needed
• Use TDOC system to track instruments and ProVation for endoscopy documentation
• Chart using EPIC system
• Blue scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy
• Unit-specific orientation with assigned preceptor
• Minimum 3 years experience required with strong orthopedic background
• Previous travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, CST (must be NCCT or NBSTSA certified)
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius of facility
