Operating Room RN Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an experienced RN for their Operating Room on a 13-week travel assignment. You will work evening shifts with a 4x10 schedule from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, providing 36 guaranteed hours per week.

What You'll Do

• Deliver patient care across all age groups in outpatient and critical care inpatient settings
• Work as a scrub nurse and OR circulator
• Operate advanced equipment including DaVinci Robot
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Float as needed and respond to call requirements (average 5 or fewer per 8 weeks)
• Work weekend hours as required by the facility

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or already licensed in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience (Teaching hospital experience considered)
• Demonstrated scrub and OR circulator experience
• BLS certification from AHA
• Self-motivated professional ready for immediate contribution

What You Need to Know

• Assignment begins May 18, 2026
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Night shift personnel orient on day shift and must be available for entire orientation week
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1–April 1

Weekly pay is $2,336. This 91-day assignment offers the opportunity to expand your OR experience in a teaching hospital setting while maintaining schedule predictability.
