ICU RN Job in Waterloo, IA

You'll work as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, delivering direct patient care in a 12-bed ICU setting. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Your Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Holiday coverage required, including the 4th of July
• Weekly pay: $2,342.34

Your Role

You'll provide care to patients with high-acuity diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, and trauma. You'll work in a fast-paced, growing unit where you'll manage critical care situations and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPI/NVCI (Crisis Prevention Institute/Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)

You must hold an active RN license and be prepared to handle the demands of critical care nursing in a complex, patient-centered environment.
