<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - CVICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• Every other holiday requirement or as needed based on unit needs<br>• 18-bed CVICU with 1:1 nurse to patient ratios<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS<br>• Must have minimum 1 year of experience with CVICU patient population<br>• Required to titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips<br>• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently<br>• Work with RT equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen<br>• Care for open heart, complex thoracic and vascular patients<br>• Support patients with Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO<br>• Handle complex cases from cath lab, structural heart program, EP lab, ER, and clinic<br>• Will float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU<br>• Navy blue scrub color requirement<br>• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination<br>• Must pass open book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation<br>• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided<br>• EPIC charting system<br>• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit facility<br>• Driver&#39;s license required at submittal for radius verification<br>• No CNAs on unit - RNs work independently</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This Level 1 trauma center is a leading academic medical facility that provides comprehensive cardiovascular and critical care services.
