MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3 days - 12 hours per week in a full-time position
• Shift rotation schedule with one other associate:
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11:30 AM to 12:00 AM
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Perform wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving system
• Provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
• Required education: Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology
• Required experience: 1 year hospital or clinical setting experience preferred
• Required certifications: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) from ARRT or ARMRIT, State Licensure if in New Mexico, MRT by MIRTP NMED, BLS via AHA
• Basic computer experience required
• Must maintain imaging competencies as outlined by management
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances
