CT Technologist Job in Andalusia, AL

SH Andalusia Health is seeking a CT Technologist for night-shift work. You will float between the X-ray and CT departments, performing imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality diagnostic results.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM (4x10 nights)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 27, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,482

Your Responsibilities:

• Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice when ordered
• Monitor patient condition and report changes in status appropriately
• Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control on equipment
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and report equipment malfunctions
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures
• Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues
• Reposition patients and repeat procedures as needed to resolve image quality concerns
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT
• Associate degree in radiologic technology
• CT technology certificate program preferred
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• ARRT certification in Radiology and CT (required)
