Ultrasound Technologist Job in Prescott Valley, AZ

Yavapai Regional Medical Center - East is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a travel position in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This is a full-time role in an acute care setting where you will perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 days, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call and standby responsibilities included
• Weekend rotation required on a sometimes basis
• Holiday rotation required
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 30, 2026

Your Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound exams, vascular exams, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
• Complete 8 to 16 scans and studies per day
• Operate Phillips EPIQ department-specific imaging equipment
• Utilize Cerner for charting and EMR/PACS systems
• Report to radiology supervisor with in-house radiologist support
• Float or cover other areas as needed

Facility Information

The ultrasound department operates 3 scanners with dedicated rooms available. You will work in a collaborative environment with on-site radiologist oversight and a structured supervisory team.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• BLS certification
• RDMS (Medical Sonography) certification
• RDMS OB/GYN certification
• Valid state license required for submission

Preferred Qualifications

• Vascular Technology (RVT) certification

Compensation and Benefits

Weekly pay: $2,229.12. Please note that scrubs are not provided by the facility.
