ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours guaranteed. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 10, 2026.

What You'll Do

• Provide emergency nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department
• Manage inpatient hold patients when beds are not immediately available
• Adapt to varying patient acuity levels and staffing ratios
• Work in a fast-paced emergency department environment

Schedule & Staffing

• Three 12-hour night shifts weekly (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend rotation required
• 36 hours per week guaranteed

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,342.34

You'll handle both Emergency Department and inpatient hold patient ratios and acuity levels. This role requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple care settings within the same shift as census and bed availability shift throughout your time on duty.
