Telemetry RN Job in Bridgeport, WV

WVU United Hospital Center is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Bridgeport, WV. You will work as part of the Telemetry Float Pool, providing patient care across multiple units with flexibility and clinical variety.

Shift and Schedule

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every-other-weekend requirement (Saturday and Sunday)
• Holiday rotation schedule with permanent staff
• 2 shift cancellations permitted per 13-week contract

Assignment Details

• Float between multiple units including Med-Surg and Telemetry with 20–36 beds each
• Primary units: 6N (36 beds) and 7N (29 beds), with additional assignments to 4N, 5S, 6S, and Critical Care
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6
• Care for patients with CHF, post-cardiac catheterization, chest pain, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, orthopedic, and oncology conditions
• You will read and interpret cardiac strips within your scope of practice but will not titrate drips
• 1–2 shifts of orientation with a preceptor

Requirements and Expectations

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must pass a cardiac rhythm exam upon arrival
• Valid driver's license (50-mile radius rule applies)
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Report to the clinical coordinator's office before each shift for unit assignment
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system

Compensation and Duration

• Weekly pay: $2,488.32
• Assignment start date: June 15, 2026
• Duration: 91 days
