Opportunity:

Medical Laboratory - Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment
• Three 12-hour shifts per week following first week of training
• Rotating weekends, typically every 5th weekend
• Fill in Thursday night shifts with ability to pick up additional vacancies
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work holidays on a rotating basis
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks
• Microbiology experience preferred; gram stains, planting cultures, and blood cultures required if no microbiology experience
• Must be proficient in phlebotomy
• Must be able to perform Blood Bank testing
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to communicate proficiently
• Must have graduated from an approved Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician program
