PCU RN Travel Job in Shawnee Mission, Kansas

You will work as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, providing intermediate-level care for patients transitioning between intensive care and medical-surgical units. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning June 17, 2026.

Position Details:

• 12-hour night shifts, three days per week
• Every third weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• No on-call requirements
• Float capability to other units as needed
• Weekly pay: $1,838.02

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients who require closer observation than general medical floors but less intensive intervention than ICU-level care
• Manage telemetry monitoring and advanced medical equipment
• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in transition stages of recovery
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and communication with the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Kansas
• Required certifications maintained throughout the assignment
• Ability to float to other units when needed
