<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab Outpatient</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM<br>• Maintain 1:1 patient to therapist ratio<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred<br>• Must have experience and competency working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, post-operative patients, debility/falls, and balance<br>• No weekend coverage required<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• No certifications required beyond standard licensing<br>• BLS certification required<br>• May float between Jefferson County Hospital and DRH Health if needed<br>• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics<br>• Daily census of approximately 7 patients<br>• Meditech charting system experience preferred<br>• Treat various diagnoses including orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, post-surgical patients, and general medical conditions<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• Local candidates accepted<br>• Pending license accepted<br>• No time off restrictions</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates as a swing bed facility providing comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services.
