Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with shift options of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or Warmup shift (if/when trained) from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No on-call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Work in a Radiation Therapy - Oncology setting with 4 exam rooms, 2 TrueBeam Linear Accelerators, and 1 GE CT Scanner
• See an average of 25 to 35 patients per day across all cancer types
• Prepare room and equipment including all necessary supplies and setup devices
• Accurately deliver prescribed and planned course of radiation treatments including verification of treatment doses, patient positioning and monitoring, imaging, and treatment delivery
• Provide patient education and documentation of patient treatments
• Maintain detailed records in ARIA and Epic
• Obtain appropriate port films on patients when prescribed
• Experience with ARIA and Varian TrueBeam required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers with the right experience and qualifications will be considered
• Washington state license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• Dosimetry Badge required prior to starting assignment
• Orientation includes 1 day of Epic training and 1 to 2 weeks on the machine with therapists
• Dress code: solid colored scrubs, no specific color required
• Charting system: Epic/ARIA
