Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Telemetry unit at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with the potential to transition to a full-time position.

Position Details

• Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; no on-call
• Positions available: 2
• Start date: June 22, 2026
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $2,312.64

Role Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care to telemetry patients, including those with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease, and medical-surgical overflow. Your responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, performing patient assessments using the nursing process, documenting patient history and care provided, and educating patients and families on learning needs. You will maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1, and float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA
• ACLS certification from AHA
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred

Orientation and Support

You will attend New Nurses Orientation within your first 30 days of hire and work with a designated trained staff member who will precept you through competency validation. You will complete annual competency verification requirements as part of ongoing professional development.
