Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide nursing care in a 12-bed observation unit with target stay of 20 hours or less<br>• Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 during days, nights, and weekends<br>• Weekend coverage required<br>• 24 hours of orientation provided starting every Monday<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS<br>• Must have active South Carolina license or multistate license<br>• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required<br>• 1+ years of recent Med Surg Tele experience required<br>• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information<br>• Eligible for reimbursement up to 16 hours for module completion<br>• Required to float to other units and campuses as needed based on census concerns<br>• Must provide Social Security Number with application<br>• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions<br>• Work with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and transportation<br>• Skills include CVA care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, oxygen administration, and peripheral line management</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical facility with specialized observation units designed for short-stay patient care.
