MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts with varied night shift hours and rotating days
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call is required, including after hours standby and callback time
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists and referring physicians in MRI procedures
• Must have experience with GE or Philips MRI scanners
• Must be proficient in operating various MRI scanning equipment and hospital computer systems
• Apply advanced technical skills and physics knowledge to operate MRI scanner accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient care for patients ranging in age from infant through geriatric
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Required license: ARRT in MRI
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
