CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST
• 2-3 on-call shifts per month required
• Holiday coverage and callback as needed per unit requirements
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping by documenting all necessary components within EPIC
• Ensure proper image identification and transmission to PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility environment
• NYS licensure required with injection therapy certification on license at time of submission
• Must complete formal training in approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification required through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Two years of experience required with Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Telemetry experience required
• Six months Siemens scanner experience required
• One year Epic experience highly desired
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Injection certification preferred and must be willing to complete during orientation
