PICU RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour shift position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This 89-day travel nursing assignment begins July 6, 2026, and offers a weekly pay of $2,471.04.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour rotating shifts covering days, evenings, and nights
• Assume on-call and callback responsibilities as required
• Take on charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs
• Provide comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with acquired and congenital cardiac conditions
• Care for patients with complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current New York RN license (NY license only)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Pediatric cardiac care experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIHSS certification
