Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Inpatient acute care setting
• 2 full weekends per month required with comp days during the week, with possibility of up to 3 weekends on a 5-weekend month
• Holidays required on an alternating schedule
• No on-call requirements
• First to float as needed
• Expectation of 1 completed evaluation per hour; if performing daily treatments, expectation is 10 completed treatments in an 8-hour shift
• Primary coverage area is acute care with possible minimal coverage at a secondary acute care hospital location
• Treat patients across level III trauma center, telemetry, ortho, surgical, critical care, neuro, oncology, and general medical units
• Patient population is primarily adults and older teens; pediatric patients are not treated at this facility
• Work alongside a team that includes an average of 5 PTAs and 2-3 techs
• May be asked to precept as needed
• Orientation to hospital, EMR, and procedures/protocols provided for 3-5 days depending on acute care experience level
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Maroon scrubs required
• Required certifications: BLS Certification
• Valid physical therapy license required to submit
