Temp - Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC) Lewistown, MO

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>SLP - SLP</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with no weekend requirements unless a holiday falls within the weekday schedule<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders<br>• Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards<br>• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions<br>• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in clinical records<br>• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers<br>• Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans<br>• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in electronic documentation system<br>• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings<br>• Attend facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences<br>• Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists when needed<br>• 1 year of SLP experience required<br>• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required<br>• Missouri State License required<br>• CCC certified SLP required<br>• Active ASHA and State Licensure required<br>• New graduates acceptable with Level II experience (not just Level I observation experience)<br>• Must adhere to ASHA and State required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility specializes in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services with a focus on speech-language pathology and patient care.
