About this role

Memorial Regional Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for day shifts in Craig, Colorado. This 91-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to deliver skilled respiratory care across multiple patient populations and clinical settings.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administer safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by physicians
  • Provide specialty care in Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care areas
  • Monitor mechanical ventilation and administer medications
  • Perform patient assessments and understand hemodynamic monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all respiratory care procedures
  • Verify physician orders for respiratory care
  • Prepare and deliver reports on patient status
  • Perform effective airway management including bag/mask ventilation
  • Assist physicians with intubation procedures
  • Perform arterial blood gas draws
  • Initiate, maintain, and monitor ventilator patients
  • Interpret flow volumes and pressure volume curves
  • Attend department in-services, meetings, and patient care rounds
  • Comply with personal protective equipment and dress code requirements
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

  • Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care Program with RRT credential
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within six months of hire
  • One year of RRT experience with knowledge in General Respiratory Care and Mechanical Ventilation

Assignment Details:

Weekly pay: $2,774. Start date: June 11, 2026. This is a day shift position at a regional health facility. You will work with patients of all ages and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality respiratory care.
