SLP - SLP Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week working 5x8 hour days
• Patient ratios: 1:12 during days and 1:20 on weekends
• One weekend per month required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have travel experience - no first time travelers
• Required certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, MBSImP
• Work with medically complex patients including respiratory failure, dysphagia, ICU myelopathy, cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary conditions
• Provide acute care speech language pathology services including bedside swallow evaluations, modified barium swallow studies, and dysphagia management
• Work with tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case)
• 8-hour orientation provided
• Every other week orientations with Monday start dates
• Must complete non-billable modules prior to start (2-6 hours average)
