Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Must hold CNMT or ARRT (N) certification
• BLS certification required
• NMTCB certification required
• On call as needed by facility
• PET scan experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in profession required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Travel experience required; local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
• Proficiency in a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including but not limited to: PET scans, MUGA scans, HIDA scans, bone scans, renal scans, gastric emptying, ventilation/perfusion, and nuclear cardiology
• Experience with pharmacological stress testing including Adenosine and Persantine infusion
• Ability to start and maintain IVs and draw venous blood
• Experience with storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Pediatric experience required
• Abdominal imaging experience required
