About the Role
You will support cardiac electrophysiology procedures in the Cath Lab, working with a team to prepare equipment, assist with patient care, and maintain strict sterile protocols. Your responsibilities include:
- Prepare the EP Lab for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Assess patient needs and provide appropriate support
- Perform hemodynamic and control room duties with full working knowledge of lab equipment
- Maintain sterile technique during all cardiac procedures
- Complete patient catheterization reports and correlate invasive and non-invasive test analysis
- Perform and monitor patient stress tests
- Implement radiation safety protocols to protect staff and patients
- Transport patients as needed
- Recognize clinical changes and report pertinent findings to physicians
Requirements
- Allied Health Professional credential
- Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology or cardiac catheterization experience
- North Dakota state license from the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board
- Current RCES or RCIS certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Some open-ended late shifts may be required. The assignment begins August 16, 2026.
