ED Registered Nurse Job in Baltimore, MD

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 14, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Weekly pay: $1,945.30

Role Details

You will provide emergency care in a combined adult and pediatric setting, managing a patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts. Your responsibilities include triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, and care for patients across all age groups from neonates through geriatrics. You will use the Cerner charting system and must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (compact license or Maryland license)
• Minimum 2 years emergency nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC, CPI, or MAB certifications
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Experience with Cerner charting system

Onboarding & Policies

• 12-hour orientation provided
• Facility-specific compliance modules must be completed within one week of contract signing
• No requested time off permitted during the first two weeks of assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
